Congratulations to Sandyston Twp Volunteer Fire Dept on trophies won at the Sussex County Firemen's Parade in Hopatcong on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Fire department members preparing their equipment forthe parade. This year, the department was awarded 1st place Marching Small Company, 1st Place Fire Department Color Guard Small Company, 2nd Place Command Vehicle and Best Overall In County Apparatus. It was a cold and rainy day, but that did not dampen the spirits of the fire department volunteers who braved the weather to walk 3.2 miles in the parade! Thank you STVFD - we appreciate your service to Sandyston Township and offer congratulations on your awards!

Construction Official Changes Hours
As of Monday, October 19, 2015, the Construction Office has changed his hours. Robert Huber will be in the office on Monday and Thursday from 12:30 pm to 2 pm and Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm - 7 pm. Should you need to see the Zoning Official and the Construction Official, both will be available on Tuesday evenings. We hope this will better accomodate our residents. Thank you for being patient during this transition!
Gobble Hobble 5K
Woohoo! Sandyston Recreation once again invites you to run, walk or hobble with us on Thanksgiving morning. Last year's event was a major success raising nearly $6,000 for recreational programs in the town. Aside from that, it was FUN! Registration is live so get your gaggle together and RUN BEFORE YOU STUFF YOUR FACE!

Sandyston Township will hold a Public Auction on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Sandyston Township Municipal Building. These are lands which the Township has acquired through an In Rem Foreclosure. Please click below for a copy of the Ordinance (#2015-10) which has been introduced and adopted by the Township Committee. This ordinance gives specific information for the guidelines of the Public Auction and the lands which are to be auctioned.
