Animal Control
Sandyston Township requires all dogs over the age of six months be licensed. A Rabies Certification is mandatory. If you have recently moved to the area please print out 2007 Dog License Application and mail to William Kaufman. The Animal Control Ordinance can be viewed online through the Land Use Page if this website. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Kaufman, Animal Control Officer, 973-948-6384.
Board of Health
The Sandyston Township Board of Health will meet four Tuesdays a year during 2007. The first meeting will be January 23, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Sandyston Township Municipal Building. Sandyston Township maintains septic/well records of the town and you may access these records by calling 973-948-3520 extension 201. There are cases where no septic/well records will be found for your residence. In that case, you must contact the Sussex County Board of Health 973-579-0370.
