Sandyston DPW Adds New Dump Truck To Fleet

Busy December, and our Road Department has much to be thankful for……

Welcome to the fleet a 2008 International Dump Truck purchased from Lafayette Township. Thank you to Lafayette DPW and Committee members for reaching out after our truck fire and offering equipment they were going to be placing for sale on Municibid. She is in great shape which is a testament to the staff of the Lafayette Road Department on how they treat their equipment. The sale was finalized at the Township Committee meeting on Tuesday night and delivered Wednesday morning.

She will fit right in with our fleet!

We would also like to thank the many municipalities and DPW/municipal staff who reached out with the same offer of available equipment or to help our Township in some way, along with concern from the public.

This will help Roy, our Road Foreman, rest easy knowing he’s prepared for the next storm!
