Veterans Wellness Program (for Veterans and their Spouses age 64+)

The WISE Veterans Wellness Program is for veterans 64 and older and their spouses. It addresses aging veterans’ unique health challenges by providing practical tips on managing health, reducing disease risk, and improving overall well-being. Participants will benefit from interactive sessions covering the aging process, disease prevention, medication management, and strategies for a healthier lifestyle.

The program also offers a platform for veterans to connect with peers, share experiences, and learn about veteran-specific resources.

A light brunch, educational discussions, activities, and guest speakers are included. Participants who attend a minimum of five of the six-session program will receive a $25 gift card.

The free six-week program will be held on Wednesdays beginning February 28 through April 3, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the American Legion Newton Post 85.
