Walking Path

An image of a black paved walking path that goes through a field. A gazebo and wooden playground can be seen in the background.

Our beautiful walking path, installed behind the municipal building, made possible by a grant received by the State of New Jersey. “The Local Recreation Improvement Grant” awarded $70,000 to Sandyston in January 2022. The idea for the walking path was through thoughtful planning of Sandyston Recreation and Sandyston Township and the hard work of Matt Morris of Harold E. Pellow & Associates. The lowest bidder for construction of the walking path, .29 of a mile in length, was Salmon Brothers in the amount of $72,155 who finished the project in the middle of August.
